I'm Vincent Hovorka and I'm based in Kelso. I don't build websites because I love graphic design. I build them because I know how many customers a business loses when nobody can find it.
Where I'm from and what I do
I've built seven businesses. Not all of them worked, but I sold two: the first after eighteen months, the second after five years. Today I invest in property, with more than 100 deals behind me, and I speak at business conferences around the world.
I host the Business Breakthroughs podcast, with more than 90 episodes. I've interviewed Charlie Sheen on stage in Los Angeles and shared stages with Kris Jenner, Mario Lopez and John Paul DeJoria. I've spoken at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello and in front of 1,400 business owners in Los Angeles.
Why I build websites in the Borders
In every one of those businesses, the same thing was true: the first impression happens online. Before anyone calls you, they look at your website. If you haven't got one, or it looks like it was built in 2010, they go to someone else and you never hear about it.
Plenty of great businesses in Kelso and across the Borders have more than enough work, but hardly anyone finds them online. I want to change that. So I build the website free and only earn from looking after it. If it doesn't work for you, you'll leave. So I make sure it works.
